About us

Established in January 2025, Capitol Hill Stitch n Bitch is a non-profit community-based group. Our mission is to create welcoming spaces where people can make things with fiber, learn from one another, and build community.

We believe:

  • Creativity belongs to everyone.
  • Progress matters more than perfection.
  • There is more than one way to make something.
  • We learn by making.
  • Everyone deserves a seat at the table.
