On Thursday, June 18th, 6:00 PM-8:30 PM, we invite you to CRVN’s Greek Cuisine Cooking class in Albany (location will be provided at registration). The full meal will be whole-foods plant-based and will avoid oil, salt, and refined sugar. Stephanie Williams, Claire Henderson Jain, and Dr. T look forward to seeing you there!
What to Expect:
- Hands-on cooking from start to finish
- Step-by-step guidance with plenty of tips and tricks along the way
- Whole-food, plant-based ingredients (excluding oil, salt**,** and refined sugar)
-Sit down together and enjoy the full meal you've created
On the Menu: Fully Gluten-Free and Vegan
Moussaka: Traditionally Greek layered casserole with roasted potatoes and eggplant with a rich lentil tomato bolognese topped with a creamy cashew bechamel
Traditional Greek Salad: with homemade vegan feta and 2 versions of oil-free dressings (creamy hummus-based and zesty vinaigrette)
Amydgdalota cookies: a no-bake version of this traditional pear cookie
Ouzo: a non-alcoholic version of this strong, licorice-flavored drink with lemon and mint
