Capital District Bible Study

This will be an in-person study of the New Testament epistle of Hebrews. The author of this letter was encouraging Jewish Christians to stick with Christ. He is the fulfillment of all of God's promises.

Hebrews is relevant to Christians today because we, just like them, are often urged by our friends and families to give up on Christ, to return to the lives we lived before putting on Christ. This study will be about reinvigorating us in the love of Christ. He is still the fulfillment of all of God's promises!

Quite simply, we will read the text and discuss it. If you know nothing about the Bible, or if you've been a Bible student for many years, this study is for you.

The Minor Prophets are the last twelve books of the Old Testament. They are only called "minor" because they are shorter than the four Major Prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, & Daniel). They cover a periods of about 500 years. All of them have something to say about the Messiah.

This will be an in-person study of the New Testament book of Luke. In this book, Luke, an early Christian, gives his account of the life of Jesus.

Quite simply, we will read the text and discuss it. If you know nothing about the Bible, or if you've been a Bible student for many years, this study is for you.
