Capturing Urban Life Through Candid Lenses

Whether you are a seasoned photographer or just starting to experiment with your camera, I would love to invite you to join our new street photography support group here in Winston-Salem. My goal in starting this meetup is to get us out from behind our computer screens and into the streets to share our passion for capturing those fleeting, authentic moments that define everyday life. We will focus on the art of observation, discussing how to approach candid subjects with respect and confidence while building a local community of like-minded creatives.
Our meetings are designed to be low-pressure and collaborative. We will spend some time walking through various neighborhoods to practice our craft, followed by a casual debrief where we can share what we captured and offer constructive feedback on our work. This is a space for learning and support rather than competition, so please feel free to bring whatever gear you have, whether it is a professional body or just your smartphone.
