Krik? Krak! Haitian Storytelling & Connection
Join us for a special gathering celebrating the Haitian tradition of krik-krak - a vibrant, call-and-response style of storytelling that has been passed down through generations. Rooted in community and culture, this tradition begins with a simple exchange - “Krik?” “Krak!” - inviting everyone into a shared space of imagination, laughter, and wisdom.

Together, we’ll experience stories, riddles, and memories that reflect everyday life, humor, and the values that connect generations. Historically shared at night in community circles, krik-krak brings people together - young and old - to listen, participate, and keep Haitian culture and language alive. (Visit Haiti)

Caregivers, parents, and elders are all welcome as we co-create a space for storytelling, cultural exchange, and community building. Come ready to listen, share, and respond - Krik?… Krak!
