Mi gente!

My name is Melanie, I'm 36yo and 100% Dominicana. I've been living in San Francisco since 2024, and I've realized how few of us Dominicans, Boricuas, and Cubanos are out here in the Bay. I was born and raised in NYC where we are abundant and vibrant, but here, it's really hard to find each other.

When Bad Bunny performed at the Super Bowl, it hit different. His performance reignited a strong sense of orgullo y privilegio for being Dominican and how much I miss mi gente.

So I want to get us together and build something real out here in the Bay. I want to create a safe where we can connect, build friendships, and feel close to our roots, no matter how far away.
