We are a book club dedicated to exploring the written works of Carl Gustav Jung, the father of Analytical Psychology. Jung's unique approach focused heavily on what he called the Unconcious. While most think of this concept as a repository for base instincts which must be kept in check. Jung saw the Unconcious as a dynamic, living thing, worthy of life. Here dwell the archetypes. What the ancients called gods they are the common threads connecting all of humanity through the eons. Jung fearlessly delved into this benighted realm in order to push the boundaries of scientific understanding into the nature of the soul itself. Join us as we discuss the ideas of one of the most prolific writers in the history or psychology.
