Cabrillo Monument ride
Details
Let's take the 8:16 am Coaster from Oceanside to Old Town arriving at 9:11 am and ride to the Cabrillo Monument (yep, a bit of hill climbing), stop for lunch (Liberty Station or Little Italy perhaps), and return to Old Town to take the Coaster. We'll aim for the 1:47 train back to arrive in Oceanside at 2:42 pm. Plan to ride about 25 miles. Bring your America the Beautiful pass if you have one for Cabrillo Monument entrance or be prepared to pay a a fee.
