# Elder Gods & Dragons Games Group

Welcome to the Elder Gods & Dragons Meetup group — a space for tabletop enthusiasts, creatives, and community‑minded people to connect, play, and unwind. We host board game nights, hangouts, and community evenings that bring together people who love stories, strategy, and good company.
Whether you’re a gamer or looking for a friendly place to spend an evening, you’ll find something here. Members can also use this page to organise their own games, find players, or share event ideas. Just needs to be ran through our organisers.

EVENTS
1. Fortnightly Mondays - Community Night - 6pm - 10pm
2. Monthly Saturday Puzzle Competition - 2pm to 4:30pm

RULES

1. The venue allows BYO food and drinks, you can bring from home or app order.

2.. We’re all here to have fun, to ensure that everyone has fun please be respectful when interacting with each other. We always describe you as a really welcoming group and we hope to continue to do so.

2. This is a friend making and 'sharing a hobby' type of event. We hope you make friends and meet new people. Please don’t think of this as a “singles” event. We don’t think of our events as a way to meet a partner/girlfriend/boyfriend/date/hookup.

3. Any harassment or bullying will not be tolerated. We will talk to you about any problems once but if problems persist beyond that conversation, you won’t be welcome at Pause Menu. You get one chance to improve.

4. We are happy to let you finish a game in play but we will consider it a sign of respect to our staff if you avoid starting games that will run past “last call”.

If someone is making you uncomfortable, or not following our guidelines please let me (Sasa) and Brenton know and we will address it.

This is a chill, welcoming evening for creatives, gamers, and anyone who wants to spend time in good company. No pressure, no prep — just good vibes and shared space.

## Facilitator

Your host, Sasa of EGAD, will welcome you, introduce you to the space, and help get the group started — often with a game or by interest.

## Food & Drink

Snacks and drinks are available on the ground floor. You can also BYO, or join the 6:30 PM Schnitz order for dinner.

## Accessibility

The event space is up one flight of stairs, and bathrooms are not wheelchair‑friendly. Lighting is bright white overhead unless the group opts to dim for projector use.

## Timing

You don’t need to be on time — just note that if you’re joining for games, you might wait for a table to free up.
