Fun, friendly, inclusive dancing. Want to meet friendly people, and get some exercise at the same time? The Carolina Dance Club sponsors a long running (20 years), very popular, social dance every Sunday at the Raleigh Elks Lodge. We focus on swing (lindy hop, west coast swing), ballroom, country social dancing and group lessons.
Come early and participate in a 55 minute beginner lessons prior to social dancing. No partner or prior experience is necessary to join us for the lesson or social dancing.
The Carolina Dance Club is the offshoot of our DJ and Entertainment company, Music and Dance Productions. Our goal, and passion is to provide outstanding social dance opportunities and instruction for our Triangle NC community. It has been our quest since 1996.
My wife Debbie Ramsey and I met dancing in New York City. We moved to the Triangle area back in 1997, and have made this our home ever since. We are professional instructors, dancers and dj's, and love what we do. Debbie Ramsey, is a US Open Swing Dance Champion, California Hall of Fame Swing Dancer, and a fantastic mother of two sons and my loving wife.

A fun, friendly, and inclusive afternoon and evening of social dancing. We are celebrating 20 years of Sunday dancing at the Raleigh Elks Lodge. AFTERNOON BALLROOM SCHEDULE: Doors open at 2:40 pm to register. No online registration.

3 pm - Beginner's Foxtrot Lesson with Wesley Boz.
4 pm till 6 pm - Foxtrot, Waltz, Samba, Rumba, Tango, Swing, Salsa, Bachata, Night Club Two Step, Cha Cha, Hustle, Merengue social dancing. DJ Wesley Boz.
Stay for the 6 pm - 10:00 pm swing dance that begins right after the afternoon ballroom dancing (included with your admission).
EVENING SWING DANCE SCHEDULE:
6 PM Beginner & Intermediate East Coast Swing Lessons. (included with your admission).
No partner necessary, very newcomer friendly lessons.
7:45 pm Ice Cream Social.

Looking for a different type of New Years Eve Party experience? If you are, join us for an unforgettable evening of social dancing, with three beginner dance lessons, food, friends and festivities all evening long. It's a great opportunity to get social, learn some cool dance moves, and bring in the new year.
Who joins us every year to celebrate? We have attendees of all ages at this inclusive new years eve party. No dance partner or date is required. Stay the entire evening, or come early, learn some dance moves, social dance, meet some new friends, then head out to celebrate midnight some where else.
Dressing for the evening. It can be casual, but most attendees get dressed to impress for the occasion, hey it is new year eve right!
Table Seating. Our event is open seating. Sit where you like, no assigned tables.

(One hour and 15 minutes for each class. (Over 6 hours of total instruction).
Enrollment Deadline: Registrations accepted during the first and second weeks of the class series - January 13 & 20th
Drop Ins by permission of instructor only.
Makeup Policy: You can make up one missed class. No Refunds.
Progressive classes: With structured, step-by-step lessons, you’ll build your skills each week. Each week, we review the prior weeks material. Weekly student video taping and a written syllabus will be provided for the course.
CLASS TIME: 6:30 pm till 7:45 pm (5 week series).

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This five week, intensive class series is for the newcomer to west coast swing dancer or a swing dancer with limited experience. We will be covering 6 count side pass, closed position basic, push break, underarm turn, 8 count whip, starter step, partner concepts and music timing in this class series.
These classes are very friendly, relaxed, and inclusive. No partner necessary. We will be rotating our leaders/followers in class so that you dance with everyone.
Please note that this class series is structured for the dancer who is serious about improving their social dance skills. You will need to practice on a regular basis to keep up with the weekly material. We will be providing a written class step syllabus, and offer weekly video recaps at the end of each class.
PARKING: Please park on the left side of, the front of the buildings parking area. Follow the signs to swing classes. Through glass double doors.
