A Special Women Of West Coast Swing Workshops Series with guest instructor Jennifer Deluca.

Bio: Jennifer Deluca has been dancing since the age of five. Credits include a college ballroom team member at the young age of 13, placing second overall in the NASDE WCS Circuit. Multi time winner of WCS jack & jill and strictly swing WCS contests. This special lady both leads and follows, and brings a"groovy" hip hop feel to west coast swing.

6:45 PM - "MY CHICK BAD" Hip Hop, WCS inspired Line Dance. Cost $15
8 PM - "WCS MOVE OF THE WEEK", Hip Control & Styling Options (Int.). Cost $15 includes evening Loafers Beach Club WCS dance 9 pm till 12:30 am).

SKILL LEVEL KEY: 1.5 Beyond Basics, 2.0 Pre-Intermediate, 3.0 Intermediate, 4.0 Pre-Advanced, 4.5 Advanced.

5:45 PM - 6:45 PM - SETTING THE STAGE - Taking the spotlight. Clarifying invite & play Communication. Level 3

WORKSHOP COST: Take All 7 workshops (Saturday & Sunday) for $95.00.
Saturday Package Only (All 4 Workshops) $80.
Sunday Package Only (ALL 3 workshops) for $60.
Any One Workshop can be purchased "a la carte" for $25.00 on Saturday or Sunday.

SUNDAY, JUNE 29th Afternoon Workshops are at the Raleigh Elks Lodge - 5538 Lead Mine Rd. Raleigh, NC 27612.

SUNDAY WORKSHOP SCHEDULE: DOORS OPEN AT 1:30 pm to register.
REQUIREMENTS: This is an upper level (Int./Adv.) Sunday afternoon workshop series. Knowing your basics are a must to be in these workshops. NO BASICS will be covered this afternoon! No partner is necessary. We will be rotating leaders/followers throughout the workshop afternoon. Very inclusive.

2 PM - SURPRISE ENDING : Turn technique with direction changes. Level 3.0
3:15 - 4:15 PM - VOLUME CONTROL : Exploring internal and external movement. Level 4.0
4:30 - 5:30 PM - FOOTWORK FRENZY: Anchoring extensions with rhythm variations. Level 4.5

- Take All 7 workshops (Saturday & Sunday) for $95.00.
- Sunday Package Only (All 3 Workshops) $60.

EVENING SWING DANCE SCHEDULE:
Stay for the 6 pm - 10:30 pm swing dance that begins right after the Sunday workshops.

The evening swing dance is a separate admission charge.
6 PM Beginner & Intermediate East Coast Swing Lessons. (included with your admission).
$15 PUBLIC, $10 STUDENTS (16-24 yrs.), $12 CDC Members.
Late Night Admission after 8:45 pm till closing - $7.00

TWO SWING SETS: DJ Wesley Boz
7 PM till 8:30 PM - Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Balboa Swing Music.

FUNDRAISER EVENT: SPONSORED BY The Carolina Dance Club and the Carolina Youth Dance Academy (CYDC) is a 501c3 non-profit that offers free and low cost dance lessons to nero-diverse and nero-typical youth in the Triangle area. A portion of the proceeds will go to CYDC for staffing and outreach.
