Lindy Hop Classes in Raleigh

INTERMEDIATE LINDY HOP & CHARLESTON CLASS Series. Instructor - Wesley Boz.

The grand daddy of swing styles. A fun and popular swing dance style.
5 WEEK CLASS SERIES: MAY 7, 14, 21, 28, JUNE 4th.
TIME: 7:45 pm till 9 pm.

(One hour and 15 minutes for each class. (6 hours of total instruction).
Enrollment Deadline: Registrations accepted during the first and second weeks of the class series. (MAY 7 & 14th). No partner is necessary.
Makeup Policy: You can make up one missed class. No Refunds.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This five week, intensive intermediate level class series is for lindy hop dancers who have there basics down cold. We will be covering swing out variations, charleston kicking patterns, musicality and timing, advanced styling for leaders and followers.

Some lindy hop patterns we will be covering: Texas Tommy, Switches (swivels), Double Turn Turns, Leader & Follower "Break Ending" styling (kick ball change, sailor shuffle).

Please note that this class series is structured for the dancer who is serious about improving their lindy hop social dance skills. This will be a fun, and very supportive class experience. You will need to practice on a regular basis to keep up with the weekly material. We will be providing a written class step syllabus, and offer weekly video recaps at the end of each class.
