Carrboro Oasis Botanical Lounge Meet Up Group

April's theme for our Oasis Herbal Drink and Draw is Contrast! Defined as a difference in luminance, color, texture, shape, or edges that make an object distinguishable from a background, contrast plays a large part in how we allow the viewer understanding of our artworks.

This month we will be exploring the Dynamic Range of light and dark values, soft and hard edges, rough and smooth textures, and contrasting colors.

We hope to see you Mondays from 4-7 at the Oasis as we delve into the different facets of Contrast!

Join co-owner of Oasis Botanical Lounge, Alicia Roskind Dearing, for an hour long deep stretch yoga class hosted at LNGVTY Hub in next to Lanza's Cafe in Carrboro. See address below

This will be a very slow moving class focused on lengthening, opening, and releasing muscles, ligaments, and fascia. Each pose will be held from 30-seconds to 3-minutes for maximum release. Alicia will come around and assist during the class to help move you deeper into the poses. You may opt out of assisting at any time. This class is for all-levels and poses can be adjusted for all body types. See you on the mat!
