What we’re about
Founded by published graphic novelist, illustrator and visual development artist, Alicia Dianne. Cartoon Arts Center (CAC) is a highly impactful community for animation, Illustration & cartooning professionals of all levels. Here, we bring out the full potential of our members with projects designed to enhance individual expertise.
We strengthen and sharpen skills through intense workshops and effective classes, relevant to visual art with an emphasis on the industry of animation and comics. We are the second home to thousands of creatives who enjoy rich friendships in a welcoming environment that encourages bonding and close relationships.
Creativity and wholeness comes from the mind. We strive to have a team of individuals with sound, peaceful mental health. For this purpose, in addition to creative workshops, we also provide groups and sessions for mindfulness, prayer, meditation, and one on one encouragement.
CAC exists to help as many creative thinkers as possible achieve and maintain a state of encouragement, motivation and value. It is a place of belonging in a community of like-minded individuals. It is a place for the artist who feels intimidated, insecure, unsure, and unwanted to come to feel inspired, cheered-on, supported and loved. It is where we all come in as equals to skill build; as we understand that the peak of mastery in art does not exist. Instead, there is the constant need for learning, improvement and empowerment. We are all learning together. All artists. All creative minds of unconditional value.
