Weekly Wildlife Drawing @ LA Zoo

About:
Join us for an awesome sketching session of uninstructed wildlife drawing and community building. Bring your favorite tools to work with such as: sketch pad, pencils, pastels or watercolors, along with backing board of sturdy book for support. Animals move quickly so bring what tools you work quickest with!
We will sketch different animals each week, rotating with the weekly theme, visiting approx. 4 exhibits each week, for about 20-30 minutes each. Dress for the weather and I look forward to seeing you at the zoo!

Monthly Schedule:

1. Week 1 - Paws & Claws: meet @ Meerkats

2. Week 2 - Great Primates: meet @ Gorillas

3. Week 3 - Beaks & Feathers: meet @ Flamingos

4. Week 4 - Hoofs & Horns: meet @ Zebras

5. Note: In event of a 5th Monday, focus will be Animal Caricature! Meet @ Alligator (in Marketplace)

• *Please note: Each artist is responsible for their own zoo admission, which is $20 for California residents, or save money with a zoo membership, which starts at $55/year at http://www.lazoo.org/membership/
