Come join us in our ongoing quest to find the best pastries on the Puget Sound. This ride will explore some hilly and scenic territory around Seattle, Greenlake, and Discovery Park/Magnolia. Our Pastry break will be at Uptown Espresso/Bakery in Magnolia.

Distance: 28 miles
Elevation Gain: 1960'
Terrain: Hilly

Pace: Moderate[14-16mph] & Steady[12-14mph]. If you plan to ride faster, Brisk pace starts in Bellevue (Brisk Meetup link here (https://www.meetup.com/cascaderides/events/225166599/)). If slower, please come prepared to ride on your own.

Parking - Neighborhood Parking
Regroups/Mechanicals: This will be a social ride with waits at the top of hills and all critical turns along with photo op stops along the way. We will not stop for mechanical issues. Please come prepared with the necessary equipment you need to take care of flats or other problems on your own. Please print a cue sheet in the event that you get separated from the group.

Rest Stops: There are NO restrooms at the start so please plan accordingly. The planned break is at Uptown Espresso/Bakery at about mp 20.

Requirements: Please make sure to arrive at least 20 minutes before the ride start so you can get prepared to roll out at the posted time, sign a waiver, and hear the ride briefing. As is required with all Cascade rides, please ensure you wear a helmet and come prepared with gear that is comfortable and appropriate for the distance/elevation. RSVP: Please RSVP for the ride so we can ALERT THE BAKERY and plan for the appropriate number of Ride Leaders.

Cancellation Policy: Showers will cancel the ride. In the event of ride cancellation, a notice will be posted on this page at least two hours before the ride and the ride leaders will not be at the ride start location.
