This ride takes us along the marina in Des Moines, on the Des Moines Creek Trail, through neighborhoods in Normandy Park, for a stop at the Grand Central Bakery in downtown Burien, and along the Puget Sound at Three Three Point.

The ride will start and finish at the South Marina Park parking lot at the Des Moines Marina. The South Marina Park is located at the corner of 6th Ave S and S 227th Street at the marina in Des Moines, it is located kitty corner from Anthony's Home Port. The parking lot is next to a painted mural.

Public restrooms are at the ride start, located at the North end of the marina next to the public pier. Please arrive early enough to sign the ride waiver, hear the route details, and review Cascade riding S.M.A.R.T. We will start promptly at 9:30 a.m.

We regroup at top of hills. If roads are wet fenders are necessary. Long fenders and buddy flaps are absolutely required unless it is bone dry out, and zero percent chance of rain forecast.

Please print cue sheets and bring all necessary tools & tubes to handle any flats etc. Bring adequate food and water as there may be limited opportunities to purchase along the way.

Be sure to check back to this posting in the comments section or Meetup in the comments section for possible weather cancellation approx two hours before the ride start (7:30 AM). In the event of a cancellation, the ride leader will not be at the ride start.
