CANCELLED Mill Creek - Cottage Lake - High Bridge Loop 39/2,800 (Brisk)

Invitation: Come and meander through Mill Creek, then head south, ride along Paradise Lake Rd, get some good climbing in, briefly stop at the Safeway and then ride back north over rural roads. By all means, pay attention to the road, but this is a great area to enjoy views of the Cascades, rivers, and many birds!

Expectations (important, please read!): Your registration on the Cascede.org website is appreciated. You have to create an account, but you do NOT have to be a member. Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to check off your name or sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community and be safe! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. I regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Cue-sheets are not provided at the start, so please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having long fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 7:00 am in the comment section. In that case I will not be at the start.
