Sumner to Black Diamond Bakery (45 miles, 1,091 feet, Moderate 14-16mph)

Please join us for a ride from Sumner, up to Black Diamond where we will stop at the Black Diamond Bakery for some pastry and coffee.

We'll start in Sumner, head north to Auburn, go through town and climb (a gentle climb) Auburn Black Diamond Rd. Then we'll head back on Auburn Black Diamond Road and down 218th with a lovely flat ride back to Auburn on Green Valley. With any luck we'll see some eagles on Green Valley Rd, but if not, the scenery is still lovely.

Everyone is welcome. PLEASE BRING A SMILE AND GOOD ATTITUDE WITH YOU! We will stay together as a group, but it's always nice to bring your own cue sheet in case you become separated from the group. Please pack water, snack, $$ for goodies, and tools/tubes to fix a flat as always.

9:00 am is a roll out time. Please aim to arrive by 8:40 am so you have time to get ready, sign the waiver, and listen to the safety briefing. Registering here will make the process easier and faster.

In addition to showers, any other hazardous conditions will cancel a ride. If a ride is cancelled due to hazardous conditions, the notice will be posted here in the comments section below, and on the Meetup announcement page two hours prior to the start time on the day of the ride. If that notice is posted, the ride leaders will not be at the start.
