Lake Sammamish Loop (22 miles, Steady pace 12-14 mph, 700')

Details
Whether you're looking to train for an event later in the summer, or want to ride for just fitness and fun, join me for a classic counter-clockwise loop around Lake Sammamish. This is a scenic and easy route with not much climbing. We'll also have a quick stop before the end at Sammamish Landing Park to see if we can spot Mt Rainier from the water if the weather is nice.
Arrive at least 20 minutes early (9:40am) to check in, get your bike ready, and listen to the safety talk. You will not be allowed to ride if you do not arrive in time for the safety talk. Please register online by clicking the "Register now" button on this page: https://cascade.org/node/44799 ; you don't have to do this but it saves us time at the start.
Pace is 12-14mph on the flat with no wind. Hills are at your own pace and we regroup at the top and before any big turns, so you don't need to worry about being left behind. Please bring supplies to fix a flat and have a rescue plan in case your bike fails. A RideWithGPS route link is provided below; please print a map and cue sheet if you need one.
There is plenty of parking available at the trail start. We meet at the trail parking lot behind Whole Foods, NOT the Whole Foods parking lot. Please park at the trail and not at Whole Foods. Restrooms at the start (porta-potty with no water) and at Sammamish Landing Park (mile 21).
The ride will be cancelled if there is steady rain or high winds forecast for the ride. I will post a cancellation notice in the comments bellow at least 2 hours before the ride and not be at the start. Please check the comments before leaving for the ride.
