About us
Welcome to the new Plot & Platter club.
A book club where we read most of the book, discuss some of it, and have opinions about all of it, including the cover.
We gather monthly (give or take) to dissect plot twists, debate character choices, and occasionally spiral into a lively debate that starts with “Chapter 12” and may end with someone’s holiday story.
This is a safe space for speed-readers, procrastinators and everyone in between: If you only made it through the blurb, just nod thoughtfully and say “the symbolism really spoke to me.” This also applies if you read the book a while ago and have already moved on mentally since then but still want to join us.
Come for the literature, stay for the food, leave full of stories!

For April, we’ve selected to read The Dutch House by Ann Patchett and My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante, and we’ll be gathering to discuss them over brunch on Wednesday, the 6th of May, in a beautiful Cascais location.
