CAMPOUT & RIDE FROM OJAI TO THE VENTURA COAST – CAMPING – CYCLING – NATURE

DETAILS
Arrive at Camp Comfort Park on Friday Nov 7th and stay until Sunday Nov 9th. On Saturday, ride 16 miles to the Ventura coast by way of a bike path completely separated from the roadway. Have lunch at the coast and ride back to Camp Comfort Park. There is the option to take the bus back to Ojai with your bike. This campground has fire rings, picnic tables, flush toilets, WiFi, laundry, showers, and running water. It also has electrical outlets at each site.
At some point we might want to visit the wine tasting rooms and eateries in Ojai.
The cost of a reservation for the weekend will be $106 per site. You might want to share the site and cost with a friend, though the sites are very small. Only two vehicles are allowed per campsite. Park rules state only one tent per site although they did not object to two small tents on our last trip.
You will need to bring your bike and provide the camping essentials for yourself including a tent, sleeping bag/pad, food, cooking utensils, and a camp stove. Appropriate clothing for cold nights and warm days is a must as is enough food for the entire event. You may be able to share items such as tents and camp stoves with others if you arrange to do so in advance.
RESERVATIONS
We have reserved and paid for a limited number of campsites. To obtain one of these campsites, send a text message to Wiley at ‪(714) 468-5609 no later than September 1st. You will then be provided with instructions to reimburse Wiley electronically via Zelle. Campsites are limited and on a first come, first served basis. ACT FAST!

Check-in on the day of arrival is 12pm noon and & check-out on the day of departure is 11am.
