May’s Free Sailing Seminar Day 2 of 3 Hands on Boat maintenance and Repair

We will be at “home beach” rain or shine.

Saturday 11am to 3pm some people will camp out and enjoy night sailing and then sail again Sunday 11am - 7pm.

If you dont know where home beach is you must RSVP by phone call or text message so we know to look for you. We are meeting any new sailors at the duane read entrance just outside of the flushing Main Street stop on the 7 train (the last stop on the train) at 10:30am call or text me if you have questions or to RSVP 313 nin too nin 1o75

We will only be doing maintenance on Saturday (no sailing saturday until maintebance is over) because most people only come to one day of sailing anyways so we require anyone that wants to sail for free Sunday to either volunteer to help with maintence on satirday 11-3pm first. If someone can only come for sailing on Saturday then they can make a suggested donation of 50$ to sail all they want Saturday If they already know how to sail (but we will not be giving doing hands on skillshare Saturday until the work day is over and we have had pot luck lunch 3pm to 4pm) or if someone can only join us for the Sunday hands on skillshare but they cant help us Maintain boats Saturday they can donate 50$ for that also.

If you know our secret fall location you can meet us there at 11am otherwise you can join us in june. No exceptions (unless you ask nicely by phone call in advence ;-))

No RAIN PLAN!!!

IMPORTANT!!!! This is a rain or shine event! There Is no Alternate rain location.

Free ground school for sailing theory will be on the preceeding Friday, at a NEW LOCATION!!! 5pm to 8pm to in midtown manhattan Once again thats the Friday immediately before this event.

If you miss free ground school you can still come to our sarurday or sunday events but we would reauire a 50$ donation in order to get the location of our secret beach. And please study our Handbook:

Bring drinking water, 2 pairs of shoes that will dry fast (because you will have to stand in a foot of water or more) and bring gloves and sun hat and 3 zip lock baggies for your phone. And once again sunblock!!! Also avoid wearing any cotton clothing or cotton socks because it acts as a sponge. Polyester, nylon and wool are much better materials for watersports.

If it rains it usually doesnt last too long and we can build a tent to work on stuff under It.
