We will go to Saltsburg Canoe Outfitters (http://saltsburgkayak.com ) for a gentle 8- mile, flat-water canoe trip on the Conemaugh River. Life jackets are provided. Arrive by 11:15 AM so we have time to get organized and sign the forms prior to boarding the shuttle bus. Bring a cold drink and a lunch, and wear sunscreen. We will eat our lunch at a wooded stop along the way.
Each canoe or tandem kayak will have two occupants. Single kayaks have one occupant. You can select a canoe mate, or we will pair someone up with you. Reservation deadline is May 17. Fill out the form below and send it to the address indicated. If weather forces cancellation, we will call you. But light showers do not usually cancel the trip. Note: Meetup participants are NOT members of CAC, and must pay nonmember rates. BUT, you can join CAC and get a full year of great events, and enjoy immediate member rates.

This is a voluntary activity. I agree not to hold CAC responsible for mishaps or injury. Also, I realize that I will be responsible for missing the shuttle bus and the canoe trip if I am late. We cannot guarantee a refund unless you cancel before the May 17 deadline.
