Join us at 7:00pm CT every 2nd Monday of the Month at OakHill Theater (Squarerut Kava Bar) for CBC Drama Club!
At CBC Drama Club, you can expect an inclusive and engaging atmosphere that celebrates all aspects of theater. Each session will feature a carefully curated theme, allowing us to delve into topics such as acting techniques, technical elements like lighting and sound, influential composers, and significant moments in theatrical history, determined by the group at large and administered by the CBC facilitator!
Our Drama Club gatherings are structured to encourage participation without pressure and typically include:
- š Introductions & Welcome ā A brief opening to get everyone settled and connected
- š¦ Theater Spotlight ā A selected scene, clip, song, or moment from theater history for group viewing, with thoughts and responses fromt he group
- š½ļø Topic of the Day ā A focused presentation led by the CBC facilitator
- š¬ Real-Time Practice ā Hands-on exercises applying the dayās topic (acting, voice, movement, tech, etc.)
Whether youāre looking to enhance your acting abilities, deepen your appreciation for theater, or simply connect with like-minded individuals, the CBC Drama Club is the perfect space for you.
šŖ Spots are limited - 7 participants per session to maintain intimacy and give everyone space and time to be heard.
