Cedar Park Run/Walk and Socialize (and beer!)

Join us on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 11:00am for an exciting annual Thanksgiving themed event at The Vineyard at Florence! Inspired from a trip to Tuscany, The Vineyard at Florence was born, establishing a beautiful destination of authentic Italian pastoral culture. Creating fine wines within a unique resort in the world-renown Texas Hill Country. Nestled in 600 scenic acres, just a short drive north of Austin, The Vineyard at Florence is ideally placed to experience your wanderlust. Whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the wine this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience!

Race Course:
Get ready for an awesome and scenic tour of the winery! If you're looking for a personal best time, this is not the course for you! Though, if you're looking for a personal best wine this course is a guaranteed winner! The run starts and finishes at the winery and features a paved route.

Please note that your RSVP to this Meetup event DOES NOT get you into this event! You must register for the event through runsignup.com to attend. As of today, 9/15/25, the cost to register is $30 plus $4.72 in tax/fees for a total of $34.72. There is also an option to donate to the charity partner.

Yesterday’s Gone believes that no woman should have to go back to an abusive situation. Our program assists women who have suffered abuse or trauma by offering housing, life coach services, and access to local resources. Yesterday’s Gone guides them on a healing journey towards self-sustainability. Our Vision is to live in a world where no woman has to go back to an abusive situation.

With the start of Fall we will adjust our start time to 6:30!

This event is focused on fun and friends! The exercise is a bonus and OPTIONAL! We want you to come hang out more than anything. Too cold or too hot or too whatever might keep you from exercising, please just show up and honor us with your presence. And Whitestone Brewery has offered us Happy Hour pricing for this event!

We will meet at 6:30 pm on the patio of Whitestone Brewery to start our Run/Walk at 6:40 pm. Please come prepared if you are going to run or walk. It is always important to be hydrated. If you are new to the event, I will make sure you have a "veteran" to run/walk with on the course.

We are going to try something new for a few weeks and see how it goes. We will meet at Southwest WILCO Park between the pickleball courts and basketball courts (yes, some of us may play some PB prior to our run/walk). I will have a 3 mile course laid out for us with an optional 5 mile course for high achievers like Rob!

Following the exercise, or around 7:30 if you want to just come socialize, we will move across county road 175 to the Dog House Drinkery. This will be a very dog friendly event.
