Cedar Park Run/Walk and Socialize (and beer!)

Turns out, this was indeed, a fabulous spot! The run/walk course is easy and scenic. Many of us truly enjoyed walking past the Bark Park and seeing the pups playing. And The Good Lot has the perfect vibe for our group!

We will meet at Veteran's Memorial Park in Cedar Park at 6:30 in front of the swimming pool. Please be on time so I can give you instructions regarding the run/walk course. We will set out at 6:40 and, as always, you choose how far and hard you want to run/walk. We generally have participants of all abilities so you will have someone to run/walk with.

After the exercise, we will move to The Good Lot for recovery beverages! I encourage you to factor in the walk to TGL as part of the exercise. Parking near TGL is spotty at best. The gang usually hangs around for at least an hour to laugh and make new friends.

This event is focused on fun and friends! The exercise is a bonus and OPTIONAL! We want you to come hang out more than anything. Too cold or too hot or too whatever might keep you from exercising, please just show up and honor us with your presence. And Whitestone Brewery has offered us Happy Hour pricing for this event!

We will meet at 6:30 pm on the patio of Whitestone Brewery to start our Run/Walk at 6:40 pm. Please come prepared if you are going to run or walk. Even in cool weather it is important to be hydrated. If you are new to the event, I will make sure you have a "veteran" to run/walk with on the course.

Come join us as we celebrate our very successful 1st year as a group!

We will gather on the patio of Whitestone Brewery around 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 10th. We will socialize for a little while as the team finishes preparing the crawfish. At 2:30, we will share a moment of gratitude for the friendships and connections that we have fostered during our first year together. After that we will eat, drink, and socialize...what we do best!

Please note there are 2 events for the same celebration. The event you are reading about now is for those who want to chip in and eat crawfish prepared by our very own Henry. Henry will cook up some delicious mud bugs for us and the cost for this privilege is $20 for approximately 3 pounds of crawfish and other fixings. After you RSVP I will send you instructions for paying your $20.

This event is capped at 25 to keep the crawfish preparation manageable.

If you want to attend the celebration but do not want crawfish, you can sign up for the event that has the same title but WITHOUT crawfish.
