About us
Cedar Valley Plant-Based Community (CVPBC) is the in-person plant-based community initiative of Mischievous Monsters, connecting vegans, vegetarians, and plant-curious individuals across Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and surrounding Northeast Iowa communities.
We host restaurant meetups, social gatherings, seasonal outings, and educational experiences designed to make plant-based living more welcoming, accessible, and community-focused. Whether you’ve been vegan for years or are simply interested in exploring more plant-based options, you’re welcome here.

If you are going to the Pumpkins & Paint Class earlier that afternoon, you can stay afterward to hang out.
If you are only going to the social, admission and any pumpkins, gourds, food, or activities are purchased individually at Heartland Farms.
