SAT, DEC.31, FRASER PRESERVE, Reston: Hike 7-8 miles , easy to moderate, at a little-known nature preserve along the Potomac River in Reston. See views of the river and remnants of a canal. The route is not totally flat; there are two hills about 400 500 ft. each. requires a short shuttle from the metro to the trail head.
As we car pool from the meet-up site to the trail head your costs will include a $2 carpool fee plus (+$2.00 non member fee).
No need to make reservations but remember that a critical number of drivers and cars are needed to transport the group from the meet-up site to trail head.
