About us
Welcome to CenTexSUP! We are a group of Stand Up Paddle board enthusiasts in and around Central Texas and are based in Austin, TX.
If you're looking for a group to get out and paddle with, resources, advice or anything else SUP related then you've found the place. We are constantly out on the water enjoying all the lakes and rivers of Central Texas and occasionally the waves down at the coast. We try to get together as an organized group at least a couple of times a month. We have paddles year round so check back often.

Postponed- new date! SUP El Camino Real PREVIEW!
Fisherman's Park, 1200 Willow St, Bastrop, TX, USNew Date! The river is closed due to flooding and opening of flood gates. New date is August 8th!
Let's check out the race course for the SUP El Camino Real - coming up on August 14-15!
This will be a casual paddle- everyone is welcome! All crafts are welcome!Meet at Fisherman's Park at 8:00am, then we'll shuttle cars to the finish line at the Colorado River Refuge/Bastrop County Nature Park (375 Riverside Dr, Bastrop, TX 78602). We'll be on the water by 9:00am and plan for a max water time of 2 hours to check out the water level and course. Then we'll pack up and head to Neighbors for lunch for those that can stick around!
Be sure to dress for the weather, bring plenty of hydration, and protect yourself from the sun (sunscreen, hat, long sleeves if needed)!
PFDs are * REQUIRED*, leashes are optional (coiled or quick release are best options).

LindaI don't suggest paddling your best race board for this paddle. It may be fine, but we need to assess water levels first.
This is a bring your own board event- there are no rentals available.
