About us
The Central Band Scotland is looking for new members to join our friendly, relaxed community wind band. We are an amateur ensemble open to brass, woodwind and percussion players of all ages and abilities, no auditions required. Our rehearsals take place at Morningside United Church at Holy Corner from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm on Mondays.
We enjoy playing a varied programme of music that changes regularly, ranging from traditional band repertoire to more contemporary and fun pieces. Highlights of our year include performances at local events and festivals such as the Royal Highland Show.
