Diya Painting Workshop and Henna Art
Auckland Central City Library - Tāmaki Pātaka Korero, 44/46 Lorne Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010, New Zealand, Auckland, NZCelebrate Diwali with a creative afternoon of diya painting and beautiful henna art. Transform a plain diya oil lamp into a colourful keepsake to take home, using a variety of paints and decorative materials.
While your artwork dries, enjoy traditional henna art applied by our talented henna artist, Shakira, using plant-based, non-toxic henna.
Henna art is open to all ages. The Diya Painting Workshop is recommended for children aged 6 years and over. Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. All materials are provided.
