About us
At Central City Library, community is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to be a vibrant, inclusive space where people of all ages and backgrounds can connect, discover new ideas, share experiences, and access opportunities for learning and growth. Through partnerships, events, collections, and services that reflect the diversity of our city, we aim to support the needs, interests, and aspirations of our community, making the library a place where everyone feels welcome and valued.
We host a mix of free one-off events and regular weekly programs that are open and accessible to all. Activities include:
- Knitting and Crochet Club
- Craft Clubs
- Book Clubs
- Live Music
- Board Games
- Author Talks
- Educational Seminars
- Writing & Poetry Sessions
… and more. This group is here to help you stay connected, find out what’s at Central City Library, and be part of a diverse and supportive community. Everyone is welcome.
