Welcome to Our Social Group (Ages 45+)
We warmly welcome anyone aged 45 years and over to join our social group.
Men and women are equally encouraged to join and attend our Meetup events.
We offer a wide variety of activities, including:

• Dinners
• Movies
• Trivia nights
• Bushwalks and barbecues
• Live entertainment
• Dancing
• Theatre
• Karaoke
• And much more!

Our aim is to enjoy great conversation, plenty of laughter, and a genuine sense of companionship. You will be warmly welcomed at your first meetup — we are a friendly group and would love to meet you.

### Profile Requirements

• A clear face photo is mandatory, as it helps us identify new members at meetups.
• Your first name is also required — we want to know you!
• Please ensure your photo is recent and appropriate.

### Membership Fees

Using the Meetup app to organise events is not free, and considerable time is spent researching, booking, and updating events.

• New members are required to pay a $10 membership fee within 2 weeks of joining and before attending any meetups.
  • Members who do not pay within 2 weeks will be removed from the group.
• Existing members must renew their membership with a $10 fee by 31 January each year to remain current.

Payment details are sent via email. If you have opted out of emails, please private message me to receive the bank details.

## RULES

• When events are posted, RSVPs are open. RSVPs close a few days before the event to allow venue numbers to be confirmed.
  Please update your RSVP before the closing date if you are unable to attend. This allows members on the waitlist to be moved to “Going.”
• If an event host requires a deposit, it must be paid at the time of RSVPing “Yes.”
  If the deposit is not received within 2 days, your RSVP will be changed to “Not Going.”
• Two “no-shows” after RSVPing “Going” will result in removal from the group.
• Bullying, gossiping, or whinging about other members will not be tolerated.
• Please leave personal problems at home — you’re here to relax and enjoy yourself!
• Treat all venue staff and patrons with courtesy and respect at all times.
• Mary and Hilary reserve the right to remove members from the group at their discretion.
