20s and 30s: Crafting at Stratton Brook
Details
Join us for a bit of fresh air and socializing! This is a relaxed event where we each bring something creative to work on (I’ll probably have a coloring book or crochet) and chat with new people. If you don’t want to bring something, that’s completely okay; the self-supplied activities just serve as a way to get to know each other and take some pressure off talking.
Many of us know that “third places” aren’t very available anymore, so this is a way to meet for free, with a bring-your-own-entertainment approach to provide some conversation-starters.
Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome if they can hang out patiently while we sit.
Meeting spot: you can find me at a picnic table just outside the pavilion after you cross the covered bridge. I’m the one with a coloring book and probably a Chocolate Lab. If it’s raining, we’ll be under the pavilion. You can try to message me if you need directions, but service is spotty here, so I might not see it.
RSVPs: Please update your RSVP to reflect your decisions. If you no-show more than once, your membership in this group might be affected. I consider a no-show to be not coming to the event even though your RSVP is still “yes” as of the start time.
