What we’re about
We are focused on wine education through tasting, discussion, and socializing.
We meet monthly, usually in private homes in the Worcester/Grafton area. At each meeting a member brings wines that follow a theme - for example Napa Valley. The member presents information about the wines and everyone participates in tasting and discussion of the wine. The cost of the wines is shared amongst the participants at the meeting. Attendees bring a dish to share.
This group should appeal to anyone wishing to expand their wine knowledge.
There is no financial angle in this group.
Members are expected to be active by attending a few meetings each year or will be removed.
Member dues are $10 per year.
We are a chapter of the American Wine Society. As such we do have the obligation to encourage members to join the American Wine Society. You are free to attend 2 meetings without membership to see if this is a good fit for you. After that, we will ask you to Join the American Wine Society so that the chapter remains in good standing.
