Connor Mill Trail Walk (Sandy Stream) - Unity

Details
On this waterway walk, the Sandy Stream is the star, offering many scenic views; near the opening are supposed to be remnants of an old mill. The opening pathways are narrow and follow the banks of the stream, where they later widen a bit. Along the way, we'll cross some wooden bridges.
This trail is a little more rustic than some of our recent walks, with some slightly hilly sections (mostly near the start).
We'll walk the Sandy Stream section (until the end of the blue blazes) and head back -- beyond this point, directions can get a little confusing; the hillier Upland loop part, which would lengthen the route, features many rocks and roots and some shaky "boardwalks."
Trail map (as part of the entire CommUnity Trail System)
Overall, the trail is mostly dirt, and some sections have tall grass. Flies and other buzzing insects might be around. Given this and the terrain, I highly recommend you bring/wear repellent, walking shoes, and long pants. See the photos for more details.
Length: 45 minutes or so, depending on our pace.
Where We'll Meet: At the wooden kiosk (with benches, as pictured) at the 32 Main St. trailhead; the parking area -- just off the road -- has space for only a few cars, but roadside parking is possible. If Google Maps is your GPS, set it for "Connor Mill Trailhead."
