ASC Kayak Volunteering

The Adaptive Sports Connection (ASC) helps veterans, children, and adults who need adaptive equipment or instruction to participate in sports. Volunteers of all abilities are needed - you don't have to already know how to kayak! There are various jobs, some are on dry land.

RSVP both here and with ASC for the appropriate date at:[https://asc.volunteerhub.com/vv2/]. Registration with ASC closes 48 hours before the event starts.

Not all ASC events are posted on the COUNT Meetup site. If you attend any that aren't, please tell Dave the date and number of hours via email (dgnohle@acm.org) or text to 614-268-9558.

Although we encourage volunteers to attend training sessions, you can learn on-the-job instead.

ASC's Event Description: Join us for a relaxing paddle on the Scioto River. Volunteers will act as registration workers, and equipment fitters, provide dry land training, and be on water buddies and safety.
