Come celebrate the winter solstice with us!
Thursday, December 21, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Unit 5-28 Currie St., Barrie (Murdoch Travel)
We will rejoice in "enlightenment" by unveiling our "Tree of Knowledge"
(dedicated to the memory of John Allen Jackson)

Help us decorate the tree by bringing a copy of your favourite book cover (or bring the book and we will copy it) If you're not a reader, don't worry, you can still come without a book

If you print your own book cover, try to get the cover to be 6” x 4” to fit these sleeves we will use. Otherwise, we will trim and fold them so they fit. If you bring your book, we can use the Murdoch Travel office's photocopier, which only makes black and white copies.

Hot chocolate will be provided - feel free to bring a few goodies to share.

Musicians! Bring your instrument – maybe we will sing.

Mask use is strongly encouraged. The community risk level has been high for a couple of weeks now. So let's protect ourselves and our friends.
---

Try before you buy: first 3 meetings are free. All Humanists, atheist, agnostics and any friendly people are welcome out. We also have a pre-meeting dinner (see separate event).

We are starting after not having any presentations since the pandemic. We typically had about 15 people out per meeting. Masks are welcome.

We will meet at the offices of Murdoch Travel, located at 28 Currie St., Unit 5. When you enter the parking lot, you'll see a loading bay. Drive to the right side of the building, and you'll see the Murdoch Travel sign at the far door.

NOTE: There will be no pre-meeting dinner this month.

Every month we have interesting meetings discussing science, logic and compassion. Check out our website at http://www.cohumanists.ca/ to see our topic list and upcoming meetings.
