Meet, Greet and Vidjam

Okay, so change of plans - Vidjam Lancaster is one week away; the Meetup for Saturday July 28th had to be canceled, and it seemed redundant to have two meetings in one week.

Vidjam - it's a 48 hour filmmaking contest. Google it for details, but long and short of it is this: at 7:00 pm Friday night, they announce the theme. From then until 7:00 Sunday night, we have to write, shot, and edit a film that fits with the theme. If we can make it horror, cool, if not, we can come up with something else to do for the contest. Comedy, crime, whatever; until we know the theme, hard to say.

I've set the time for this meet up 2 hours before the Vidjam announcement- my plan is to take whoever shows up for the meeting between 5-7 to Vidjam, get the theme and make a short movie. It could just be me alone with my IPhone or (better) dozens of us showing up; either way, my goal is to have something submitted by the deadline. Personally I think it be a great dry run for anyone that wants to jump in and do the zero budget thing. Hoping to see you there; this is - at least in my opinion- a great way to get something done.
