What we’re about
This group is open to the public and is for anyone interested in learning more about investing and/or personal finance. My goal is that the information I can provide will help in your personal and professional lives. We all live in NYC, the financial capital of the world, and my goal is to be a tour guide for what is happening under the surface as well as some applicable tips for making smart financial choices. This group is purely informational and I will not be selling anything and is totally free to join. Experts are also free to join and I would welcome their additions to the conversation.
On my background, I am a young finance professional living and working in the city, having worked at a major Wall Street bank and now at a small investment firm and my objective for this group is to give back to the community any and all the information I've gathered through my journey through finance.
While cold, my intention is to host these meeting in-person in Central Park (yes, outside - bring a coat!), as I find in-person communication allows for easier question / answer session and building connections to others. We will meet behind the big gold statue in Columbus Circle facing the park on Monday's at noon (12pm). If successful, I might host 2 meetings a week. We will all be socially distant and I please ask you wear a mask to the meeting. I'll aim to keep meetings to 45 minutes (maybe longer in the summary) but encourage you to stay longer and I'm happy to cover more topics if folks are up to it! Please message me with any questions!
