Since its debut in 2016, Stranger Things now entering its final season—has been a pop culture phenomenon. The show follows a group of friends in the 1980s in Indiana as they face epic threats against the very fabric of reality as we know it. Along the way, they encounter secretive government laboratories, Cold War conspiracies, and individuals with incredible psychic powers. As amazing as the show’s story lines are, could any of them be based on real-life events from the time?
Join us on Thursday, October 16, at 7:00 p.m. ET for a Skeptical Inquirer Presents livestream with Daniel Reed, as we examine the surprising history behind the fiction and explore “How Stranger Things Mirrors Real-World Searches for the Paranormal.”
This live online event is free, but advance registration is required. Sign up today!
