Why do so many Americans reject the theory of evolution? Mathematician Jason Rosenhouse wondered why, and spent several years attending creationist and intelligent design conferences, trying to get some insight into what makes otherwise sensible people reject a sound scientific principle. His book, "Among the Creationists: Dispatches from the Anti-Evolutionist Front Line (http://www.amazon.com/Among-Creationists-Dispatches-Anti-Evolutionist-Front/dp/0199744637)" details his experiences and provides a deeper understanding of creationists and why they think what they think.

CFI-LI is proud to host Prof. Rosenhouse at its january forum. He will present a short talk, followed by a lively Q&A session.
