Details
Join us for a cleanup at Lake Sybelia in Maitland, Florida. This public park is tucked away on the west side of Lake Sybelia and has a playground, covered pavilion and a public restroom.
Central Florida Recon (CFR) will be on the west side of the lake, and the City of Maitland will be hosting a cleanup on the east side of the lake.
You will be asked to sign a Cleanup Event Sign in and Indemnity Waiver upon arrival.
You do not have to own your own vessel to join us, there is plenty of green space around the lake to walk with a trash grabber and bucket. We will have six kayaks to share on a first to arrive, first to launch basis.
The event is scheduled for two hours and at the end we will combine all of our trash, weigh it and take a group photo.
