🚣 Lake Baldwin Cleanup

🚣 Join us on Saturday, March 7th from 9:30am - 11:30am as we welcome members of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Sustainability Committee and the Young Members Forum (YMF) for the Lake Baldwin Cleanup! Kayaks will be offered to the ASCE crew first. If you have your own kayak, canoe or stand-up paddleboard, bring it along.
You will be asked to sign a Cleanup Event Sign in and Indemnity Waiver upon arrival. If you can’t swim, we will request you stay on land during the cleanup.
We will meet at the north-west side of the lake (2000 S Lakemont Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792). Trash grabbers, buckets and latex gloves will be available for the volunteers to help pick up trash from within and around Lake Baldwin. If rain or heavy wind is in the forecast for the day of the cleanup, check here on Friday night for event updates.
The event is be scheduled for two hours. At the end, the trash will be combined and weighed, and a group picture will be taken. Please bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and a friend! See you at the lake! 😎
