A Walk : Harder
Great Gearstones to Hawes
Along the Pennine Way

Mileage : 12 miles .( option to extend the walk slightly if we make good time )
Ascent 1535ft
Descent 1805 ft
From Far Gearstones we head away from Ribblehead on the Ribblehead Way towards Wold Fell. We leave this and join the Pennine bridleway and on up to Dodd Fell trig 668mts .
Continuing on we pass the summit of Ten We should enjoy views of Dales peaks , Ribblehead and Dent viaducts .586mts then begin to descend into Hawes .

B Walk : medium
Along the Pennine Way
Far Gearstones to Hawes

Distance 9.5 miles ascent 1040ft
From Far Gearstones , we set off on the Dales Way to Cam End where we join the Pennine Way which we follow all the way to Hawes .
Our route takes us along Cam High Road , which is a Roman Road and Gawdy Lane to Gayle and into Hawes .Weather permitting ,we should have good views along the route

C Walk : easier
Hawes circular.

Distance ; 6 miles
Ascent : 800ft
We set off behind the car park , following the Pennine Way up Brunt Acres Road then to Hardraw , We stay on the Pennine Way to Bluebell Hill then make our way down to New Bridge . We then go alongside Widdale Beck . passing the Water Falls . From Bog House we make out way to the B6255 , following it for a short while , before going up Bands Lane ,through Gayle and into Hawes .
The walk can be shortened depending on weather conditions or even do a different walk if the weather is bad .
