**unfortunately due to this weekends weather forecast we have had to cancel this walk on the 15th and rearrange for the following Sunday 22nd February.

Winterburn and Bordley
Gargrave to Grassington

Ascent 494mts
We start in Gargrave ,crossing the canal and walk to the village of Eshton. We pass the Giants Graves ( ancient pillow mounds )as we climb up Scarnber Hill . We reach Winterburn Reservoir ,then on to Lainger House and Bordley.Then we climb up onto Malham Moor where there will be views if its clear .We head down through Wood Nook , then finally into Grassington .

B walk : Medium

Hopefully the snowdrops will be out and we'll see plenty as we walk through these pretty Dales villages .We head east out of Gargrave along the canal to the Aqueduct.Cross here ,walking through fields heading north to Eshton Bridge then Flasby .Here we pick up the Dales Highway path to Hetton .From Hetton the path goes east to Rylstone .Cross the main road through Cracoe, along a minor road to Threapland ,then through fields to Crook Beck , into Linton Continue on a quite road to Linton Falls and up Sedber Lane to Grassington where the walk ends .

C walk : easier
Rylstone to Grassington

Distance 5.5 miles
Ascent 600ft
We get of the coach on the B6265 at the Charming village of Rylstone .We go along Chapel Lane ,,passing the old hall , , to the outskirts of Cracoe . From there we cross the railway and make our way up Swindon Lane to Linton Moor . We follow the edge of the Moor for a short distance , the along Moor Lane to Linton , eventually we cross the bridge where the falls should be spectacular after all the rain we have had /Then up Sedber Lane into Grassington .
