Please note the number of members attending our walks is usually between 10 and 20 . The number of members attending on the day on Meetup is not relevant to numbers walking on the day as a lot of our established members do not use Meetup .

This is an Extra walk not on the syllabus but to fill the gap in activities .

We start in the same spot as Choo Choo (1) but we do an anticlockwise circuit via Thornton Town ,its viaduct , Queensbury rain station and Clayton before returning to Thornton School and /or the start point .
From Bradford interchange catch 607 at 10.25 getting off Thorntons Ashfield Road /Vine Terrace just after centre at 10.49 0r 67 from Keighley at 09.55 getting off at James Street School at 10.25 .
If traveling from the Aire Valley you may want to consider catching the 09.50 from Keighley to Thornton at 10.27.Or you may choose to drive to Thornton .
Make your way to the meeting point next to the pelican crossing outside Primary School ..
Rest assured the leader will wait for all three buses to arrive if necessary so we wont set off until these arrive at 10.50 at latest .
The walk is expected with a few stops and an easy pace we will be finishing at 15.00
