A: Nunburnholme: Pocklington to Market Weighton.
14 miles - 22km. 1300 feet -400m of ascent not all at once
The 'A' walk leaves Pocklington following the Chalkland Way north. Travelling through woodland and fields we are treated to fine views above Millington. Here we turn south through woodland and fields and join the Yorkshire Wolds Way through Nunburnholme.
The walk follows a similar pattern of mixed scenery via Londesborough to Market Weighton.

B: Wolds Way and a Provisional Promise of Primroses
Pocklington to Market Weighton.
10 miles. 700 feet of ascent not all at once
The 'A' walk leaves Pocklington along the Yorkshire Wolds Way the Yorkshire Wolds Way through Nunburnholme. We then walk via Londesborough to Market Weighton.

Provisional Promise of Primroses
C: Market Weighton circular.
This is Market Weighton Circular using the Wolds Way and a link route. 7 easy miles with 500' ascent
To start we go through the site of the mediaeval village at Towthorpe, now grassy mounds, to Londesborough. Here we shall see the estate, the church, but not the hall as the Duke of Devonshire c1830s dismantled it to get stone to build Chatsworth.
Return is via the historic village of Goodmanham, perhaps joining the Wilberforce Way along the disused railway.
