Park to Park

Please note the number of members attending our Saturday walks is usually between 10 and 20 ( The number of members attending on the day on Meetup is not relevant to numbers walking on the day as a lot of our established members do not use Meetup .
Please note tomorrow's walk 18th Malcolm is unable to lead it so John Feather as offered to lead .
John will meet members at the interchange at X6 stand N for Leeds .We will get off at Headrow ,stop stop I to catch the 24 bus to Adel .this will take us to Clarendon Road ,where the walk will start .anybody travelling by train cancelled still do sobut we will meet up at Clarendon Rd ,where the walk will be at 10-45.
**Park to park **
After leaving Hyde Park we aim for the Meanwood Trail which we follow until we pass into the Dales Way Link and then onto Golden Acre park. The walk is about 8.5 miles with about 650 feet of ascent. Very gradual.

Travel details
Train from Bradford Interchange at 09.53 to Leeds. I will travel from Saltaire to Leeds so will meet you all just outside the ticket barriers. We will walk to City Square where we will get the 10.32 Number 24 Bus to Hyde Park. We will get off at the Clarendon Road Bus stop. We then walk into Hyde Park where we start the walk.
The return bus from Golden Acre is the X84 to Leeds. There are vrious bus times: 15.5, 15.49 and 16.29 and we should be back in time for one of these.
