From the Station we head down to Burley and the Iron row to the river Wharfe using the stepping stones once conquered we have a long up hill walk to Askwith village and the Moor beyond . hopefully we shall be rewarded with panoramic views of the Wharfdale Valley, including the Cow & Calf and Beamsley Beacon . This is the highest point of the walk and followed by heading downhill to Denton and beyond to Ben Rhydding and will be approximately 7 miles into the walk and a possible escape route for those who don't fancy the next hill ( maybe a return from BR if yo don't fancy this option ) .
The rest of us will have a steady climb up to Wharfdale grange where we can marvel at the beauty of the other side of the Valley we earlier hiked .And from here we have a nice stroll along the welcome way back to Burley .
Its a nice walk along some quite lanes with great Yorkshire flora and fauna .We cross the stepping stones as a team .
